S.V.P.T Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Inter College was established in the year 1981 at Namdeowadi in Thane. The school presently owns its premises, which was inaugurated on 1st October, 1991 by the then Vice President of India, late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma. The school is efficiently run by the Saraswati Vidya Prasarak Trust.
In the year 1997, the Trustees started the Junior College of Science and are the pioneers in introducing bi-focal vocational course (Computer Science & Electronics) in Thane.
The School has been administered under the able guidance of our respected Principal, Mrs. Korde, for last 25 years. The year 2006 witnessed the Silver Jubilee of the School. Today the school has more than 3500 students on roll. It is well equipped with all modern infrastructure. The inauguration of the new branch of the school at Ghodbunder Road in 2008 is a matter of great pride for the Trustees, the Principal and all those connected with the school.
Over the last 35 years, the school has scaled one peak after another & achieved accolades in all spheres of development. With a rich array of achievements over the years, the school continues to march ahead with zeal and enthusiasm.
About Us
Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Inter College, High School was conceptualized in 1981 to impart quality education. The township of Thane was fast growing into a mega city. Growth being our mantra, Saraswati Vidya Prasarak Trust decided to launch Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Inter College at Ghodbhunder Road, extending their 27 years of educational experience to the ever expanding city.
